Do you know the story behind the Logo of Ching Chang Chinese?
If not, then please pay me your attention. It takes only two minutes!
The Ching Chang Chinese Logo has been designed after several weeks of work in 2008.
- The Logo consists of two columns, one smaller left one and one bigger right one.
- Three hands are displayed in the left column. They are a metapher for the famous and well-known children game ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS, in Chinese ####.
- In the right column you can see a big Chinese character. It is the Simplified Version of the Chinese character with the meaning “the will” or “intention”. It expresses one of the main attitudes a person must have, who is learning Standard Chinese (Mandarin). The same applies, of course, for Cantonese, Korean and Japanese. In front of this Zhi you can see the name of the Ching Chang Chinese company.
- The two colours, Red and Dark Yellow, have been tradionally used in China for several centuries. The colour “Red” is a Chinese symbol for luck. The colour “Dark Yellow” is the colour of the Chinese Emperor. Until 1911 it could be only used by the Emperor himself to mark its property and special buildings.
